Awful!! Awful!!

Ladies and gents, please welcome my most awful finish of the year...Ugh! I'm totally complaining to myself and shamelessly posting this here... Seeing this is like adding salt to my breaking heart. But anyways, I have the thickest calloused face ever!!! LOL

Isn't it ever so disgusting!? I don't know what kind of holy spirit came over me and told me that I should stitch this piece out of the center!!! It does have about an inch and a half allowance to the top. Grrr!! I hate myself!!! I should have asked hubby to do the counting for me because God knows math isn't my forte. But it came out so bad like this, I feel soooooo mad. I showed it to hubby and he readily said "Just rip it out and stitch it again!?" w00t?! Nuh uh, not in a million years!!! I'll probably just even it out a bit, so that means cutting part of the excess at the bottom. The people I am giving this to is going to have it custom framed, so they can surround it with the baby pictures, and i doubt it will make a difference since most of the framers will probably glue it down to the mount board anyway.

Thanks for looking!!! =)

Well as usual its totally cute and gorgeous stitching. You know what I think the problem is? These EMS designs are posessed! I remember you had a really horrible time with the placement on the last one you did. *hugs* big big big *hugs*

the stitching is amazing, look cute, is not in the center? well a lot of people do the same several time, and you've got enough fabric there for framing, in a square or oval frame.and really look great the stitching.

Very cute finish. Yes the centering is off, but it sounds like they should be able to work around it. I've done that a couple times, and my framer stitched some extra fabric to the one edge, then positioned the mat up to the edge where the fabric was stitched to give a bit of extra to work with. Once framed, can't even tell. I'm sure the people you're giving it to will love it.

Saw your earlier pictures of your visit to SF, it looks like you had a wonderful time. However, I would have thought your feet would have been so totally frozen I'm surprised you could smile. What a fun day you had though, lots of memories.

Thank you too for your award to me of the Brilllante Blog award. It always amazes me that people actually enjoy seeing/reading what I post.

Oh dear. When I first saw it I thought it wasn't in the centre then I thought you meant to do it that way.

But anyway, it looks lovely and I really love the fabric you stitching it on

Aww... don't feel too bad. Mistakes like this happens. It's still lovely stitching. Your friend is gonna be so pleased.

I think it turned out fine. If the recipients are going to custom frame it, it's no big deal... just cut the bottom off to even up the borders. :)
